I have used the Øyo Tuv Knife on several trips where I needed a dependable all-rounder. With blade length ~95 mm and total length ~220 mm, it gives enough leverage without being bulky. The blade is forged from premium steel with a grind that holds edge well but is also serviceable in the field.
Handle is made of grey pakkawood, shaped to fit grip and includes a finger stop to prevent slippage during tougher cuts. Comes with a solid black leather sheath which keeps the blade safe and lets me carry the knife securely on belt or backpack.
Care involves drying after wet use, oiling the pakkawood handle now and then, and stropping or sharpening the edge when it starts to dull. In cold or wet weather it still performs well, though the sheath should stay dry so moisture does not damage leather.
