Right of withdrawal

Your right of withdrawal

As a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you, acquire physical possession of the goods. If you ordered several goods in one order that are delivered separately, the period expires 14 days after the day on which you or that third party acquire physical possession of the last item.

How to withdraw

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw by an unequivocal statement, for example:

You may use the model withdrawal form below, but you do not have to. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You must send back or hand over the goods without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

Returns go to Denmark; you may choose any carrier, and we recommend a tracked service. We do not guarantee that our delivery carrier’s services are available for returns to Denmark from your country. For a small parcel (such as a knife), the cost of returning is generally that of a standard parcel from your country to Denmark; we will tell you the estimated cost on request.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. You may therefore try the goods as you would in a shop, but not use them further.

Exceptions to the right of withdrawal

There is no right of withdrawal for goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised (Article 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights), for example engraved knives or any other personalisation.
