We know the Helle Utvær as a robust outdoor knife built for strength and control. It carries a 100 mm blade of Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel, giving a sharp edge with good corrosion resistance. The knife measures 210 mm overall and weighs 160 g, offering a dependable balance between size and handling. Folded length not applicable. Description
I value the Utvær for its combination of toughness and practical design. The 12C27 stainless steel blade is known for its hardness and edge stability, an asset for bushcraft and survival use. At 210 mm overall length with a 100 mm blade, it is large enough for heavier camp work while still allowing precise tasks. At 160 g, it feels sturdy but not overly heavy on the belt.
The full tang construction provides strength throughout the knife, a feature I look for when I expect demanding tasks. The ergonomic handle fills the hand comfortably, making it safe to use even during extended carving or food preparation. The leather sheath is well fitted, protecting both blade and user.
When out in the forest or along the coast, the Utvær proves its worth by being a tool you can trust in different conditions. For anyone seeking a strong and lasting outdoor companion, this is a knife worth securing while stock lasts.
