I have leaned on knives like the StrongArm in demanding environments where the steel, grip, and sheath mattered more than just looks. The StrongArm uses 420HC stainless steel with a black/ceramic finish. Its blade is about 122 mm long, drop-point shape, fine edge (no serrations). The full tang ensures structural strength, and the handle is glass-filled nylon (GFN) with a rubber overmold in a diamond texture for excellent grip even when wet.
The overall length is about 248 mm, and it weighs approx 204–205 g. The spine is thick enough to bat-on wood or use for prying when necessary. At the butt of the handle is a striking pommel (useful as a glass breaker or for hammering light objects) plus a lanyard hole. The sheath is modular: you can mount it vertically on MOLLE, carry it horizontally on a belt, or on the leg (drop-leg style).
Some limits: 420HC is fairly good steel, but edge retention is moderate (you’ll sharpen more often under heavy or abrasive use). The finish will wear under heavy tasks, especially coating. Also, size and weight mean this is not a lightweight EDC blade it shines in serious outdoors, bushcraft, tactical or survival roles more than urban pocket carry.
If you need a fixed blade that can take the knocks and stays functional, the StrongArm is built for that kind of work. Worth getting now while available.
