StrongArm Camp Grey fixed-blade from Gerber made for camp tasks with full-tang strength and MOLLE sheath.
We’ve used this knife around fires, on food prep, and for light chopping. The Gerber StrongArm Camp is a fixed-blade knife with 420HC blade steel, approx. 104 mm blade length, perfect for handling cordage, kindling, or camp chores.
The full tang gives confidence the blade won’t fail under pressure while the grey glass-filled nylon handle stays grippy even when wet.
Worth its weight for lightweight packers; heavier in your gear load, yet justified for toughness.

Description
I’ve carried the StrongArm Camp through several camping trips. The blade, made of 420HC high-carbon stainless steel, comes with a stonewash finish and a drop-point shape. With overall length about 228 mm and blade around 104 mm, it balances reach and control well. The full tang construction gives solidity; no flex when cutting or batoning small pieces. The handle is grey glass-filled nylon (GFN) with a diamond texture grip, which helps when hands are sweaty or dirty.
The sheath is multi-mount, MOLLE compatible with options for scout or drop carry, and has a lanyard hole. That gives flexibility depending on how you hike or pack. It also has a limited lifetime warranty from Gerber, which adds trust, they stand by their workmanship. The blade’s toughness is good, though 420HC is moderate steel: it resists corrosion fairly well but doesn’t hold an edge like premium steels. Closer attention needed to sharpening and care. For camp-use tasks meal prep, carving, rope cutting, kindling this knife shines.
If you’re considering a reliable camp knife that won’t let you down in basic but demanding tasks, this is it. Stocks move and prices vary if you find it at a good deal, it’s worth grabbing.
