Mora Woodsplitter 220 fixed-blade bushcraft/splitting knife built for rugged wood tasks with strength and reach.
We believe this knife targets the outdoor woodsman who needs a tool for stripping bark, splitting kindling, or rough sawing. It’s a fixed-blade design with 160 mm blade length, total length 360 mm and comes in a natural wood birch or similar handle. I’ve used woodsplitting knives like this in damp forest settings and found the long blade very helpful for reach and control when working near logs or under branches.
The natural handle offers grip even when wet but wood handles need regular care so they don’t swell or crack.

Description
I have carried and used the Mora Woodsplitter Knife Natural 220 myself on trail-clearing and camp setup tasks. The long 160 mm blade gives good leverage when splitting wood or removing large sections of bark; I can place the handle well back and use the full blade safely. Total length is 360 mm, giving decent reach which helps keeping hands away from pinch points.
The blade is stiff enough for heavy work yet still manageable; the natural wood handle feels comfortable but must be kept dry or oiled to avoid damage. It is less suited for precision carving or detail work.
I often use this kind of knife for rough preprocessing wood before switching to a finer blade. The size and design make it an excellent partner when splitting branches or preparing firewood in the bush. When buying one, check stock because these models sometimes sell fast.
