From forty years of using knives, I know a carbon steel Morakniv like this gives excellent cutting performance and takes a keen edge though carbon steel needs more care to prevent rust.

I have carried knives like the Morakniv Classic 1.0 out in forest, workshop, and at camp many times. The 77 mm blade length is ideal for detail work (whittling, carving, food prep), while the full 170 mm overall size gives enough handle to grip firmly without losing precision. Carbon steel blade means superb sharpness and ease of resharpening; expect a bright, crisp cut and excellent control. Birch handle feels warm and natural in hand and has a good balance with the blade. Comes with a plastic sheath for safe carry.

Since the blade is carbon steel, I always oil it, wipe it dry, and store it away from moisture. The knife is out of stock now, so if you want one, keep watch or act fast when it returns.
