I have carried the Helle Temagami on long hunts bushcraft excursions and wilderness stays. The 107 mm blade is thick at 3 mm giving enough strength for breaking bones joint work and clean cuts without bending. The large birch handle feels solid warm and stays comfortable even after long use and wet hands thanks to the finger stops that prevent slipping. There is a lanyard hole in the handle letting you attach a strap around the wrist so even if your grip fails the knife stays close. The deep leather sheath is handcrafted and holds the knife securely so it will not fall out while you are moving through brush or sitting by the fire.
The overall length is 230 mm and weight about 155 g without sheath these specs make it strong yet still manageable. I often imagine skinning a deer early in frost the Temagami gives enough reach and precision yet control to finish the job neatly.
If you treat the handle with oil occasionally dry the blade after use and sharpen carefully this knife will serve you well for many seasons. Supplies are scarce now order soon to secure yours.
