Gerber folding knife with serrated blade, frame lock, and polished finish.
We know a larger folder is sometimes the better tool. The Gerber Paraframe II Folding Serrated is a folding knife with a 90 mm serrated blade, 190 mm overall length, and 119 g weight. Folded at 110 mm, it carries compactly while still giving a strong cutting edge. With one-handed thumb opening and a frame lock, it is quick to deploy and safe to use. Its serrated edge bites easily into rope and tough material, though it is less suited for fine slicing tasks.
I once used a similar serrated Paraframe to cut heavy nylon cord at camp, and the teeth bit through far easier than a plain edge.

Description
I appreciate the Gerber Paraframe II Folding Serrated for its mix of size and practicality. At 190 mm overall length and 119 g weight, it is the largest of the Paraframe family, making it feel solid in hand. The 90 mm serrated blade is well suited for cutting rope, straps, or fibrous material where a smooth blade may slip. A polished finish gives it a sleek look, easy to wipe clean after use.
With a folded length of 110 mm, it rides well in the pocket, while the frame lock secures the blade firmly when in use. The one-handed thumb opening makes it quick to ready in the field. It is not the best choice for delicate slicing, but as a utility and outdoor knife it stands up well.
I imagine clipping it to a belt before heading out fishing, using the serrated edge to cut through thick braided line with ease. If you want a strong folder that covers daily use and outdoor work, this model is worth picking up before it sells out.
