A minimalist Paraframe I folder paired with the versatile 9-tool Mullet pocket companion for full everyday readiness.
We’ve used the Gerber Paraframe I with the Mullet combo in daily carry cutting tasks, quick fixes, and those “I wish I had a tool for this” moments. The Paraframe I is a frame-lock open-frame folding knife with a stainless steel clip-point blade 76 mm, paired with the Mullet multi-tool which offers 9 tools in one small stonewashed piece.
It handles light EDC very well though it is not meant for heavy abuse. I found this combo perfect when I wanted utility without bulk.

Description
I’ve been carrying knives and tools outdoors and in urban settings for decades. This Paraframe I + Mullet set gives me both a reliable knife and a backup tool whose design helps when I don’t want to carry a full multitool. The Paraframe I uses a clip-point blade shape that performs well for slicing, opening boxes, and detailed cuts. The frame-lock design makes it solid, but it is fairly slim so the blade will flex under heavy load. The stainless steel make ensures durability and ease of cleaning.
The Mullet tool is especially handy small enough to go on a keychain, belt loop, or pocket. It includes drivers, pry bar, wire stripper, nail puller, scraper, and more. In many situations I found myself using the Mullet instead of digging for other tools. It’s not going to replace pliers or large screwdrivers, but for light tasks its compact size is very useful.
If you want utility and redundancy in your carry knife plus multi-tool this combo gives that without feeling overloaded. It’s the kind of set you’ll use daily once you own it.
