With an 80 mm blade and 125 mm total length, it’s easy to manipulate in tight spaces around joints or under hide. The olive wood handle is pleasant in hand and doesn’t slip easily. Though the tool is small, the full tang construction gives confidence: I’ve pushed it into field-dressing work where fragile hide could easily tear with weaker builds, but this held up well.

The 90-gram weight means you hardly notice it in your belt, yet it’s substantial when held. Care of the tool includes cleaning after use, oiling the handle wood now and then, and keeping the blade dry; leather sheath helps but don’t let moisture linger between blade and sheath.
