The Tramp continues Iisakki Järvenpää’s approach of fusing practical utility with classical Nordic styling. Its high carbon steel blade is hardened to approximately Rockwell 57–58 to provide a resilient cutting edge under field conditions. The broad blade with a thickness near 3 mm gives it enough heft for tougher tasks without being overly bulky.
The handle is stained and polished wood, wider than average to suit larger grips and to distribute pressure comfortably. Brass fittings act as a guard and form a hooked pommel which helps prevent slippage during use. The full tang is visible through the brass butt plate, providing structural integrity.
Its sheath is leather with a plastic liner to protect from the sharp blade. The belt loop is mounted via a D-ring so the sheath can swing freely and avoid interference when crouching or walking. With proper maintenance (cleaning, drying, light oiling), this knife can become a dependable outdoor companion for years.
