I have handled the Paraframe II Tanto SE many times; what strikes me first is blade geometry and balance. The tanto-style blade has a reinforced tip good for piercing, and the partial serrations help when cutting through rope or fibrous materials. Steel is 7Cr17MoV, decent for stainless, though edge retention will be moderate under heavy use. The black titanium nitride (TiNi) coating helps protect against corrosion and minimizes reflection.
Handle material is skeletonized 3Cr13 stainless steel, which keeps weight down and makes cleaning easier (no hidden crevices). The frame lock is robust and the knife opens via dual thumb studs. There’s a pocket clip for secure carry.
In terms of size, the blade is about 89 mm long, closed length is about 121 mm, overall length approximately 206 mm (open). It weighs about 122 g. It’s not a ultralight knife, but it carries well for its size. For everyday carry, duty, or tactical use it’s a strong candidate; just plan on occasional sharpening if you use it hard.
